Cancellation/ No Show Policy for appointments:

PLEASE DO NOT D.M. ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS TO CHANGE OR RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENTS.

We understand that there are times when you must miss an appointment due to emergencies or obligations for work or family. However, when you do not call to cancel an appointment, you may be preventing another patient from getting much needed treatment. Conversely, the situation may arise where another patient fails to cancel and we are unable to schedule you for a visit due to a seemingly “full” appointment book.

If an appointment is not cancelled at least 24 hours in advance you will be charged a fifty-dollar ($50) fee. If an appointment is cancelled the same day of the appointment, you will be charged the FULL CASH RATE. (not the co-pay or co-insurance you may pay when insurance is billed). The full cash rate cancellation fee can be used as a credit toward future visits in $50 increments.

The cancellation policy applies even in instances of illness or emergencies, unless official documentation can be provided by medical professionals. With regard to COVID-19, official documentation confirming COVID-19 testing will be needed to wave our Cancellation/ No Show Policy. At-home tests are not accepted as proof of illness. Please note that we also maintain these policies for weather situations.

When cancelling through the appointment confirmation text, please follow all prompts until link states your appointment has been cancelled. Texting the number will not result in communication with the office. Failure to cancel properly through Square Appointments may result in full-fee cash rate for visit.

We always try to do our best to accommodate. If you arrive late to your appointment with one of our providers, we may have to reschedule you with another provider or have you split your visit time with 2 providers.

ARE YOU TRAVELING?

Cancellations or rescheduling of flights, regardless of the reason, will not excuse the cancellation policy. In the event of a cancellation, we are more than willing to provide you with a receipt that can be submitted to the airline or travel insurance company for potential reimbursement of any fees incurred due to missed appointments or other related expenses. It is important to note that any reimbursement will be subject to the terms and conditions of the airline or travel insurance provider, and we cannot guarantee the outcome or timeframe for reimbursement. We highly recommend reaching out directly to your travel insurance provider to fully comprehend their coverage and reimbursement policies if you have purchased travel insurance.

We reserve the right to revise this cancellation policy without prior notice.
